Accounting/Finance Part Time Intern (Philadelphia, PA)

Responsibilities:

Support duties related to commission accounts payable and accounts receivable;

Assist in processing payroll and tracking carrier commission AR≈

Import/check commission AR&AP into payroll system and perform commission audits;

Assist with preparing financial transactions/reports using Sage 50;

Perform account compilation, analysis and reconciliation w/knowledge of GAAP and CMS commission payment guidelines.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting/Finance;

Proficient in Excel(vlookup/pivotal table);

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills;

Ability to self-teach and learn new processes quickly.

Successful interns will be considered for full time employment.
